Ramadan Special Session- Surah Al Mulk

Join us to Learn Tajweed and Detailed Tafsir of Surah Al Mulk

Life is tough, but the next life could be tougher! What are you doing to help open those gates of heaven?

How about an intercessor asking for your forgiveness on the Day of Judgment!

Read on to learn how Surah Mulk benefits us in the afterlife.

The Prophet (peace be upon him) has singled out specific chapters or verses in the Quran to read often. One of these chapters is Surah Mulk, the 67th chapter in the Quran. It is commonly referred to as “Tabarak” since that is the first word in the Surah.

Abu Hurayrah narrated that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: “A surah from the Quran containing thirty verses will intercede for a man so that he will be forgiven. It is the surah Tabarak Alladhi bi yadihi’l-mulk [i.e.,Surat al-Mulk ].” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2891; Abu Dawud, 1400; Ibn Majah, 3786.

For those that recite it, it will intercede on their behalf until they are forgiven. Surah Mulk could be the key that opens the Gates of Heaven!

May Allah swt Accept all our Ibadaat. Ameen.

Importance of Salah (Prayer) in Islam

Salah is a special form of worship that is the second most important pillar of Islam after the shahada (testimony of faith).

Abdullaah Ibn Qarat narrated from Allaah’s Messenger (salallaahu `alaihi wassallam) that he said:“The first thing that the slave will be accounted for on the Day of Resurrection will be the Prayer – if that is sound then the rest of the deeds will be sound, and if that is corrupt then the rest of the deeds shall be likewise corrupt.” (At-Tabaraanee)

The Prophet (pbuh) said: “The key to Paradise is prayer; the key to prayer is wudu (ablution).” (Musnad Ahmad)

As Muslims, we may offer Salah five times a day, every day, but do we actually understand the meaning of what we recite during our Salah? Do we know the significance of the words we are actually uttering?

It is pertinent for every Muslim to not just know the Arabic recitations of Salah, but to understand what it means as well . We cannot connect with Allah (SWT) and be sincere in our prayer if we do not even know what it is that we are uttering in front of Him.

These Sessions will help you understand the meaning of what you are reciting in Salah and develop Khushoo in Salah and take you closer to Allah swt.

May Allah swt Accept all our Prayers. Ameen.
